Hernández Oslo is a charming neighborhood café with a Spanish twist, a few steps north of Aleksander Kielland's Square. Here you can enjoy great coffee, or try a matcha latte, and most importantly, don’t leave without tasting the signature dish: Basque cheesecake!

Owner Diego Gil Hernández is a pastry chef from Barcelona who moved to Norway three years ago. He has worked at Pascal and Sommerro before pursuing his dream: to start his own place. Hernández Oslo opened summer 2024!

Perhaps you’ve tasted Diego’s cakes before at the markets of Floke and Kruttverket. Now you know where to go if you’re craving a cheesecake that’s silky and creamy on the inside, caramelized and crust-free on the outside. Yum! Makes your mouth water, right? If it leaves you wanting more (and it will), you can order whole cakes through the website and enjoy more deliciousness at home.
