Dansens Hus is Norway's national stage for dance and is the only stage in Norway that exclusively showcases dance performances! There is active work here to make dance and performing arts accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, and ability.

In 2008, a long struggle led by individuals and organizations finally came to an end: Dansens Hus could open – a brand new, functional, and beautiful theater house in an old industrial hall by the Akerselva River. Thus, an important milestone for the visibility and recognition of the art of dance was reached.

Today, you can enjoy between 30 and 40 performances from around the world every year! Dansens Hus also contributes to a better world through production support for both Norwegian and international dance artists. Dansens Hus is for those of you who love dance and those of you who have never seen a dance performance before.
