Agora (αγορά), which means meeting place in Greek, were the marketplaces in ancient Greek cities, with the agora in Athens being the most famous. One of the coziest Greek meeting places in Oslo, however, is at Lilleborg, in the form of a delightful neighborhood restaurant that serves Greek meze on a sunny outdoor terrace!

What could be better than taking a dip in the Akerselva at Sagene, followed by a refreshing cocktail at Agora? Not much. Here you actually get a dedicated cocktail menu with seasonal drinks. This Greek gem is also a cultural spot as well as a bar and café, and Agora hosts a small stage that offers emerging young artists a platform where they can express themselves so that the neighborhood can gather for a celebration. Every month, a new program is launched offering everything from live music and stand-up to art exhibitions. In other words, a true Athenian meeting place with a big heart!
